Yep, you got it people! I'm in the planning stage of organising a journey across Australia on my pushbike. Some people have called me crazy, others adventurous, some optimistic..

But no matter what they say, I think this is going to be a trip of a lifetime!

I'll get to travel all the way across Australia seeing all the places that you normally miss if you blink. Best of all, i can do it at my own pace! If i find a neat little town that i want to spend some more time in, there's no restrictions on how long i can spend there. If i decide to stick around for very long, i can also get a little work, moving from town to town. Should be great fun!

At this stage I'm still looking at the gear that I'll be taking with me, that being camping, cooking, cycling etc. I've got a heap of ideas in my head, I've just got to work out how to put them into practice now - and test them before the big journey. 

So when will i be starting this? Likely around mid-March 2009 - I've got a little while to get myself in order :)
